You will acquire the skills needed to modify behavior, challenge your dog's mind, and most importantly, strengthen your relationship with your

In-Home LessonsOne-on-one lessons address everything from basic family manners
to more serious behavior problems. Lessons are 1-1.5 hours. Lessons are not restricted to the home environment. We will train in the setting where the dog is the most challenged. For example, if your dog is leash aggressive, we will take your dog on a walk; if your dog is misbehaving at daycare, we will address her issues at the daycare facility; if your dog has territorial aggression, we will work to modify your dog's behavior at your home; if your dog is having issues at the vet's office we will partner with your vet to create a more positive experience during examinations.
Cost: $115
Packages of 3 or more lessons will be discounted to $100/lesson.

In the event that your pet needs medication, a change in diet, acupuncture, or another type of therapy to create wellness, it can be provided for your pet at Canine PhD.

Potty Training

Series of 3 lessons that will include potty training, crate training, chewing, jumping, socialization and leash walking.
Package of 3 sessions is $275

Dog and Baby Harmony
Need to prepare your 4-legged family member for a new arrival? Or is your dog currently having issues with your new baby? We will design a stress-free program for safety, management and acclimation during this adjustment period.

Companion MatchingThinking about adding a new 4-legged family member? Canine PhD offers temperament testing for private adopters so that they have a better understanding of the dog they are considering prior to placement. We will help your family consider the best choice of dog for your lifestyle and environment. And we will assist you in choosing a dog or cat from an animal control facility, private shelter, or breeder.

Temperament Testing For Animal Shelters
Canine PhD offers temperament testing services throughout Metro-Atlanta on a regular basis. We will come to your shelter and assess dogs or cats you are interested in placing up for adoption. Full written documentation and video will be
provided as well as placement recommendations.
Temperament testing increases the adoptability of animals in your
shelter as it gives adopters a better understanding of the dog they are
considering and gives the shelter a better idea of the ideal adopter

There is $10 mileage fee for in-home appointments outside a 15 mile travel radius. For ppointments 20 miles or more there is a $15 dollar fee.
*We require 24hrs notice for appointment cancellations. There is a $50 cancellation fee if you do not give notice.
