Family Manners 101
Training should be fun, fast and effective. In six weeks, we cover all of the basic cues: watch, sit/stay, down/stay, coming when called, and loose leash walking. We teach you how to apply training to your day-to-day life, and we will touch on specific behavior problems like barking
& jumping. This class will prepare dogs for the
Canine Good Citizen, Agility and Rally.

Mini Mannners 101
This is a family manners class for small dogs. All breeds under 20lb are welcome. We will touch on all of the basics  INCLUDING how to create a confident small dog! Reactivity prevention will also be addressed. Dogs will learn watch, sit/stay, down/stay, coming when called, loose leash walking touch, and more. This class will prep your pup for the Canine Good Citizen Canine Good Citizen, Agility and Rally.

Family Manners 202
This class will teach your dog how to be the best companion he can be. We will proof techniques learned in Manners 101. New skills include heel, distance sit, down. stays, and find your place. We will also review loose leash walking, and polite greetings with humans and dogs. You will begin off-leashing training in Manners 202.
Prerequisites: Manners 101.

Family Manners 303
This fast moving obedience class will keep your active dog on their toes! You will learn a combo of basic rally and agility skills that can be applied in any environmental context you'd like to train: at home, on walks or at a park. In class, the dog/handler team will focus on a brisk, continuous performance through courses, preforming different exercises like Sit-Down-Sit, Figure 8's, Recall Over Jump and much more.
Prerequisites: Manners 101 or basic obedience.

Working Trials 101
A fun class for dogs of all sizes and ages.
This class is a combination of agility, rally obedience, and companion dog exercises. In this class, your pup will learn to heel on/off lead, recall to front and finish to heel, send-away to 50 yards, retrieve a dumbbell, search to find and retireve 3 small articles hidden in a 15 yard area, board jump (up to 9 feet), hurdle jump (up to three feet).
Prerequisites: Manners 101 or basic obedience.

Bully Basics 101
For dogs 4 months or older. This basic obedience class also addresses specific breed training needs. Boxers, Bulldogs, Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, Boston Terriers, French Bulldogs Rottweilers and Mastiffs are welcome.
Graduation will be the Canine Good Citizen Certification.

Nose Work
Based on K9 detection work, nose work is an exciting new sport that can be practiced anywhere. This mental and physical activity asks your dog to problem-solve using their natural scenting capabilities. In each class, we will strengthen your dog's hunting skills and teach them how to target odor. This class is great for working dogs, reactive dogs, pet dogs, and clients who are looking for something new and fun to do with their dog.
Prerequisites: consultation or reactive class.

Agility for Fun
You will learn to communicate with your dog in an exciting, new way. Agility builds confidence, coordination, and enhances your relationship with your dog. Intro classes focus on proficiency of equipment. Intermediate and advanced classes focus on improving handling skills.

Reactive Dog Class
This class is for owners who are struggling to get their dog's reactivity and aggression under control. This class is designed for dogs who are reactive to dogs and/or people. In this controlled environment, you will teach your dogs how to RELAX in real-life distractions. You will improve your leash-handling skills, your timing, and most importantly, you will teach your dog new coping skills in lieu of reactivity.
There is a limit of 6 dogs in class.
Prerequisites: 2-4 Private Lessons.

Reactive Agility Class
This Class is for graduates of the Reactive Dog Class who are looking for more training. This class is for dogs who are uncomfortable working on/off leash around other dogs. This agility class is specifically designed for dogs who are easily distracted, reactive, or aroused. This class will help you further control your dog's impulses when they are excited. You will get the benefits of improving your dog's confidence and having a lot of fun!

Canine Good Citizen
A certification program that is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community.
The Canine Good Citizen Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from
Prerequisites:Manners 101 or basic obedience.
$85 includes a 1 workshop and the test.



Star Puppy
The AKC S.T.A.R Puppy is a new program designed to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start. This program is an incentive program for loving dog owners who have taken the time to take their puppies through a basic training class. When you complete a basic training class (taught by an AKC Approved CGC Evaluator) with your puppy (up to 1 year old) your puppy your instructor will administer the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test at the end of a 6 week course.

Puppy Socialization
For puppies 10-16 weeks.
Teaching puppies how to enjoy life in our human world. The primary  focus of class is off-leash household manners/obedience and the prevention of behavior and temperament problems. Puppies will learn bite inhibition (gentle jaws), socialization with other dogs and people (especially children, men and strangers). Puppies will also learn how to be calm and how to enjoy being handled. We will discuss chewing, biting, potty training, crate training, and basic commands like sit, down, watch and come.

Play and Obey
Will teach adolescent dog owners how to create responsive and reliable canine companions in environments with dog-distractions. Play and Obey! will make the human more relevant during the socialization process. Your dog will acquire important skills such as name recognition, come, back, settle, and leave it. By the end of this four week class, your dog will be checking in with you rather than ignoring you when other dogs are present. You will also learn the subtleties of dog body language and canine play etiquette. Plus, you will become proficient in how to frequently interrupt rough-housing before it gets too intense.

Hound On The Town
Do you want the dog you can take anywhere? Would you like to enjoy lunch at outdoor restaurant and have your dog lay quietly by your side? Would you like to be able to walk your dog through the Highlands, Midtown, or Little 5 Points without your dog jumping to greet people or other dogs? In this class, you will finesse leash-walking in distractions, polite greetings, automatic sits and relaxed
                                                             downs. You will also learn to teach your dog important
                                                             safety protocols like "wait" when you open your car door.
                                                             Prerequisites: Family Manners 101.

Outdoor Dog Adventures
Limit to 8 dogs. $15 for a two hour hike. This is an excellent opportunity for bonding for dogs and humans alike. We will focus on getting your dog's attention in distractions. Bring GREAT dog treats, toys, balls and anything you think will add to the fun!
No human-aggressive dogs. Must have leash control.
$15 for 2 hour hike






Treibball
Don't have sheep to herd? Or is your dog just plain nuts about those magical round orbs? Treibball is urban herding and doggy soccer all in one. A fun game for any breed. Treibball is a new way to play with your dog. It promotes better teamwork and communication between a dog and his handler. It’s great fun for any energetic dog who works well off-leash and needs a job.
Prerequisites:Manners 101 or basic obedience.

Tricks for Treats
Obedience training is not the only way to teach your pet great behaviors. Trick training is a fun, focused activity that provides important mental stimulation and creates a lasting bond with your dog(s). Teach your dog how to jump through a hoop, how to take a bow, sit pretty, crawl, spin, catch, weave, play dead, and how to retrieve a named object.
